Important House Rules!

 â€‹

  • COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED! EVERYONE who visits The Glenn MUST be FULLY VACCINATED! EVERYONE visiting MUST provide a digital copy of their vaccination card a minimum of 14 days before your check-in date. If you do NOT provide proof in the required time frame, your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will NOT be refunded.

  • WILD ANIMALS: Never forget that you are in the forest!  That means there are wild animals: bear, deer, fox, etc.  Please do NOT leave ANY garbage or food outside and be sure to put ALL food away inside too.  Bears have a great sense of smell and have been known to break into homes for your delicious smelling human food! For more information visit: Nevada_Wildlife

  • PARKING: Driveway holds up to 4 vehicles, depending on size. There's NO Winter street parking due to the snow plows clearing the streets. Violators may be ticketed or towed at YOUR expense.

  • SNOW REMOVAL: We have two snow plow removal services.  One that keeps the streets open and a second that will clear the driveway and walkway after 6" of snow.

  • GARBAGE: We do NOT have garbage service!  You can store your bagged and tied off garbage in the Bear Box (by driveway) BUT when you check out, you MUST take it ALL with you OR take it to the dump.  It’s about $10 to dump 5 bags of garbage.  If you leave your garbage on the property, we will take $150.00 out of your deposit.

    • The South Tahoe Refuse Company: 2140 Ruth Ave. SLT

No open flames allowed inside or outside the home.  No fire pits, no smoking, no vaping, no fireworks, no tiki torches, no candles, etc.  We do allow BBQing on the patio, with constant supervision and you MUST clean the grill after each use or it may attract bears!

  • NO SPORTING EQUIPMENT STORAGE IN THE HOME: If you bring skis, snowboards, sleds, bikes, kayaks or any other sporting equipment, please do NOT store them in the home.  If you must, you can place your equipment at the covered area behind the garage.  It's a safe neighborhood, but storing anything on the property is at YOUR risk.

  • NO PARTIES: The use of the home is for paying guests only. Please be respectful of our home. Excessive noise and late-night (after 9:30pm) disturbances are enforced/ticketed by local police – at YOUR expense.
